    Times Property Wins the New Prime Lot at ￥2.47 billion in Shiqiao

    The bidding of the plot located to the south of the Nanqu Park of the Qiaonan Street Neighborhood in Panyu District was held in the Auction Hall of the Guangzhou Public Resources Trading Center on the afternoon of November 24th 2015. Times Property, after 40 rounds of bidding, defeated Wharf China and won the bidding at a ceiling price of ￥2,469,490,000 yuan with a requirement of building 3600 m2 affordable residential apartments. Shiqiao, thus, witnessed the birth of the new prime lot in its history. 

    ·Supporting Facilities in the Neighborhood

     

    The plot occupies an area of 45,537 m2. The planned construction area is 154,826 m2 with an FAR of 3.4. Located in the residential area of Shiqiao South in Xinxing of Panyu District, this plot will cater for the needs of the local residents living in the old town of Shiqiao who are seeking an improved living environment. North to the plot lies the Nanqu Park, which will provide beautiful scenery and natural environment to the residents in the future. The complete supporting facilities and matured living environment will also be within reach thanks to the already existing communities in the neighborhood.

    The bidding attracted ten property developers including Times Property, China Vanke, China Poly Group, and Wharf China among the others. After 40 rounds of bidding, Times Property defeated Wharf China at its heels and won the plot at ￥2.47 billion with a requirement of building 3600 m2 affordable residential apartments. And Li Weihong, General Manager of Times Property Guangzhou Company (South), signed the confirmation of the deal on behalf of the company.

    Currently, Times Property is operating two projects, Times Bund (Guangzhou) and Times King City (Guangzhou), in Panyu. The successful bidding of the new plot in Panyu not only secures the company’s quality land reserve, but will also serve as a strong support for the sustainable development in the future.
