The finals of the 2016 "Times Property · Qicha Cup" Guangzhou-Foshan Basketball Invitational Tournament, sponsored by Times Property together with its co-hosts, the Culture and Sports Bureau of Chancheng District and the Subdistrict Office of Shiwan Town, was held at Foshan Stadium on January 6, 2017, as the culmination of a fierce, six-week competition.

Several strong teams had struggled toward the finals with all their courage and might. The exciting finals were intense from the start. First was the battle for third place between Guangsheng Property and Yingxun Club, which started at 19:00 on the second court. After cut-throat battle, Yingxun Club won with a score of 112 to 75.

Tianli Xinda and Nanhai Weixing fought fiercely for the throne in the main stadium at 7:30 p.m. that night. The two teams did their best, but ultimately Nanhai Weixing won the championship with a score of 68 to 39.

That evening, the leaders--including Mr. Zhang Hongbing, standing committee member of the CPC Chancheng District Committee and Director of the Publicity Department of Chancheng District; Mr. Ji Jianghong, deputy secretary of the Subdistrict Party Committee of Shiwan Town and director of the Subdistrict Office of Shiwan Town; Mr. He Yongqing, administrative vice director of the CPC Chancheng District Committee and director general of the Cultural and Sports Bureau of Chancheng District; and Mr. Tu Qiang, member of the Subdistrict Party Committee and general director of the Publicity, Culture and Sports Bureau--attend the closing ceremony, during which they presented the awards.
